This summer has been.. interesting. My dad was unemployed, found a great deal on some South American hardwood and built a fancy shmancy deck(and I got dragged into helping occasionally), was re-employed for a couple weeks, and the job was finished so he's unemployed again. My mother's wonderful boss of 25 years retired and was replaced by a new jackass who keeps cutting pay and has slashed all benefits she previously had, and now we don't know if she's going to be let go after she does all the work in setting up the new office(like I said, jackass..).
